Creating a WebP Delivery Copy from PNG
WebP can produce a lighter delivery file for a transparent logo, product cut-out or interface graphic. The saving depends on colour complexity and detail; an already optimised small PNG may show little improvement.
Width and height do not change. WebP can keep the alpha channel, while the selected quality may encode colour data lossily. Retain the lossless PNG as the editable master.

Evaluate Alpha Edges Alongside Quality
Transparent pixels are retained in the WebP output. Semi-transparent edges, fine shadows and smooth flat-colour transitions can still be affected at low quality, so preview the asset on both light and dark backgrounds.
Canvas re-encoding omits ancillary PNG metadata. Also check the receiving CMS: browser support and an upload system’s allowed-file list are separate compatibility questions.

Where the File Content Is Processed
Your selected file is read by browser APIs on the device; RizeTab does not upload its content to a processing server. PDF routes may download pdf-lib or pdf.js code from a CDN. That request can expose an IP address and ordinary connection details to the provider, but the file being converted is not part of it.
